Meet the Motivational Speakers

Sheldon Ingram

Certified Holistic Health & Life Coach / Motivational Speaker / TV Reporter

I’m a certified holistic health and life coach, motivational speaker, and television reporter. How did I get to this stage in life? FEAR! When I was a teenager I was diagnosed with eczema—a condition that affects approximately 20% of children and 3% of adults in the U.S. After years of insecurity, I learned that improved nutrition could actually help cure my condition. And it did! From that moment on, I realized what we eat affects our blood, which affects our skin and the rest of our body.

Later in life, I watched chronic illnesses and cancer take my father’s life. Reverend James Franklin Ingram’s body was held hostage. His eating habits were poor, fitness was absent, his body deteriorated and misery set in. I held his hand and kissed his forehead as he took his last breath.

That was 2009–the moment I decided to empower others as a health coach. To learn more, please visit www.SheldonIngram.com.

Jordan Corcoran

Founder of “Listen, Lucy” & Motivational Speaker

Jordan has been living with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder for years now and she has always found that the best release from her internal struggles was to write about it. Dealing with these disorders, it was always really difficult for her to get people who have never experienced it to understand what was happening and how life-altering and consuming it was for her. Trying to express herself seemed impossible at different points in her life, but when she took the time to sit down and write out exactly how she felt and explained herself without being interrupted or misunderstood, she slowly began to heal. Jordan loves to write. When she writes and expresses what is happening with her, she feels like she is in control and able to free herself of what she’s been holding in. Jordan came up with Listen, Lucy because she wanted to create an outlet where people can express themselves freely and creatively. She says, “We are all dealing with different issues and I want to create a community where people can tell their stories and feel comfortable.” Jordan’s mission is simple. She wants to create a less judgmental, more accepting world. To learn more, please visit www.ListenLucy.org.
